Chris believes that quality must be continually built, maintained, nurtured, and qualified.
As Vice President of Global Quality Control and QMS, Chris leads Smith’s Quality Assurance team, liaises between departments, and helps Smith maintain our commitment to quality by meeting ISO and security certification standards. He plays an integral role in identifying and sourcing new testing equipment, helping Smith obtain and maintain crucial industry certifications, and facilitating customer audits.
Chris joined Smith as a Quality Engineer in January 2008 and was quickly promoted to Quality Manager that same year. In 2009, he was promoted to Director of Global Quality Control and QMS before being named to his current role in 2024.
