As Chief People Officer, Denise leads Smith’s Human Resources and Recruiting departments and all employee engagement and retention initiatives worldwide.

Before joining Smith in 2024, Denise served in a variety of human-resources leadership roles at global technology and industrial companies around Houston. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She also holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP HR certifications. Her emphasis on building and developing strong, positive relationships with team members at all levels helps her to identify organizational needs and implement effective solutions to promote employee engagement and growth.

In her free time, Denise enjoys spending time with her son, playing guitar, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns.
