Jennifer Kabbara

As President of Innovation, Systems, and Development, Jennifer puts her decades of experience and inspiration into action, overseeing new trader development and directing the Trading team’s contribution to Smith’s continually advancing digital transformation. Her goal is to manage change in a way that propels Smith’s trading capabilities well ahead of all competitors by utilizing our people and tech processes to maximize the company’s reach and ultimate success.

“We have so much talent at every level, and my goal is to bring out each individual’s most impactful abilities,” said Jennifer. “Through this approach, we can create a system that yields the most opportunities that will return the maximum benefit for Smith’s customers.”

Beyond that, she is focused on supporting the efforts of Smith’s diverse Trading team to lead the industry with critical market information, ensuring that we are in front of new engagement tools that customers want to use.

“Smith is not a thing; it is our people,” said Jennifer. “Watching people develop into difference-makers for Smith after taking advantage of information and opportunities we helped facilitate is so rewarding.”

Jennifer joined Smith as an International Sales Representative immediately after her graduation from Texas A&M University in 1994. During her tenure, she has held numerous leadership positions, including Trading Floor Manager and Director of Trading Operations. She was named Director of Global Sales in 2021 and President, Americas in 2023 before taking on her current role in 2026.

When she’s not at Smith, Jennifer follows NCAA and international competitive swimming. She enjoys living in Houston for many reasons, especially the wide variety of fine-dining experiences available.
