Last week, 30 team members from our Hong Kong locations and their families volunteered at Dignity Kitchen to help bake cookies and pack and distribute meal boxes for their local community.
Project Dignity, Dignity Kitchen’s parent organization, provides vocational training and other services for people living with disabilities and other social challenges. The organization hosted a baking class at its location in the Yau Tism Mong District, and the cookies produced during the session were distributed inside meal boxes later that evening.
“Smith and our employees invest our time and resources to jointly participate in these volunteer activities to give back to society,” said Terry Fu, Senior Vice President of Operations and Quality, APAC at Smith. “This opportunity filled our team members with so much positive energy. We worked in solidarity to provide the community with smiles, cohesion, and teamwork!”
