Smith Names Jessica Ruiz as General Manager of Its Guadalajara Office

Jessica will cultivate new business opportunities for Smith in Mexico and around the world

Houston, TX (March 17, 2021) – Smith, a global distributor of electronic components and semiconductors, today announces the appointment of Jessica Ruiz to the position of General Manager of the company’s office in Guadalajara, Mexico. Jessica previously served as Trading Manager for this office since 2019.

In this role, Jessica will support Smith’s trading team in Mexico to expand the company’s presence in the region and develop strategic relationships worldwide. She will succeed Jesser Juan Qui, who was recently named Director of Business Development, Latin America for Smith.
