Smith Earns AS6081 Certification at Its Singapore Hub

HOUSTON, TX, (December 16, 2024) – Smith, a leading global distributor of electronic components and semiconductors, today announces its certification to the AS6081 standard at its Singapore distribution center.

AS6081 establishes rigorous requirements for inspection, testing, and risk mitigation in the aerospace supply chain. This certification recognizes Smith’s capability to detect and prevent the distribution of fraudulent or counterfeit parts intended for use in aerospace applications.
