Smith Names Mark Bollinger Chief Administrative Officer
Mark will lead the company’s administrative departments and drive global initiatives
CES sets the tone for tech each year. Its early January time slot picks up on the excitement generated by a new year and magnifies that with the introduction of great new products and innovative applications.
The pre-show press offers some clues as to what we will see this year, when the show opens on Thursday. Of course, some of what’s on offer will be improvements on developments we’ve seen in years past – autonomous cars, virtual reality, drones. But this year’s show also promises to bring greater clarity to the direction of voice-activated appliances and the heated rivalry between Amazon, Microsoft, and Google on that front. The very real world of voice interface and its potentially broad application is intriguing and solid evidence for the continued expansion of tech beyond traditional computing and entertainment. We look forward to all of the announcements and unveilings at CES 2017.
