Houston, TX (November 29, 2023) – Smith, a leading global distributor of electronic components and semiconductors, today announces the expansion of its sales office in Seoul, South Korea. The additional space will accommodate the company’s growing employee roster.
The Seoul office opened in August 2000 and has grown steadily year after year. The location has quadrupled its employee count over the last ten years, requiring additional space to provide premier support and service to customers in the area. The expansion will double the original square footage of the location.
Situated in the highly concentrated Gangnam District, the office is seated in South Korea’s banking and financial sectors among the headquarters of numerous key businesses in the industry. Significant investments have been made in the country in recent years, as technology companies around the world look to diversify their supply chains.
