Currently, Art is focused on process improvement as it pertains to running our state-of-the-art operations hubs even more efficiently.

But it’s all in a day’s work for Art.

“Ultimately, at the end of the day, my goal is to walk out the door and be able to say ‘I gave it all I had, my team gave it all they had, and we gave it all for Smith,’” Art said.

Joining Smith in 2004 as Manager of Corporate Security, Art was promoted to Security and Facilities Director in 2012 and Vice President of Operations and Quality a year later. He was named Senior Vice President of Global Operations in 2022 before being appointed to his current position in 2024. He received his BA in political science from the University of Houston.
