Jessica Ruiz

As Vice President, Americas, Jessica focuses on strengthening the company’s solid sales framework, improving efficiency, and building on Smith’s overall growth and goals. She currently oversees offices and sales teams across the southern United States, Mexico, and Brazil.

In her role, Jessica is committed to building a cohesive and high-performing team culture while fostering collaboration across departments. She prioritizes customer satisfaction and strives to develop long-term industry relationships that drive continued success.

Since joining Smith in 2016 as a Business Development Representative, Jessica has ascended the ranks, holding vital roles within the organization. She was promoted to Trading Manager in 2020, then General Manager of the Guadalajara office in 2021, before taking on her current role in 2026. Her steady advancement reflects both her leadership capabilities and her deep understanding of Smith’s global trading operations.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending as much time as possible with her son, Gael, and has a deep passion for suspenseful television series.
